Paris, France & Overland Park, Kansas – Continuing a long tradition of supporting competitive road racing, Bollé has signed on as eyewear sponsor of the UCI World Team Katusha Alpecin. The recently-signed agreement spans the squad’s 2017 and 2018 campaigns.

Team riders, including reigning time trial world champion Tony Martin and multiple Tour de France stage winner Alexander Kristoff, will be able to choose from the eight distinct cycling models in the brand’s 2017 collection, but most are expected to opt for the new, race-optimized Aeromax.

Already battle-tested on the World Tour, Aeromax is the latest addition to the Competitor Bollé Cycling Solution range of sunglasses. The oversize, B-Max lens with strategic venting allows for an extremely wide field of view. An interchangeable B-Clear lens made with Trivex provides optical clarity and impact resistance that outperform polycarbonate, the material used for most sport sunglasses. An effective anti-fog coating is applied to the interior of the lens and a hydrophobic/oleophobic treatment is applied to the exterior to prevent smudging. Adjustable temples have B-Shape technology for comfort and stability at speed. Aeromax is compatible with the Bollé B-Thin active design RX program.
