Bollé Freshens Urban Cycling Line

Helmets Gain Sizing Option and Colors, Sunglasses Get Stylish New Frames

PARIS, FRANCE & OVERLAND PARK, Kansas –  For 2018, Bollé has made several key changes to its helmets and sunglasses for riding in the city. While the emphasis remains on safety and performance, these refinements bring an extra measure of comfort and style to the Urban collection.

All Messenger Premium models, the Urban collection’s top helmet, now feature the Hi-Vis system. Designed to ensure motorists can see riders in low-light situations, this valuable safety feature employs reflectorized materials positioned at several strategically located areas of the helmet, including front, sides and straps. A new smaller size option (51-54CM) joins the existing medium (54-58CM) and large (58-62CM) options.

Keeping pace with the hottest trend in cycling, Messenger Premium is well equipped for use with E-Bikes. The comprehensive list of features that make it unique among helmets for in-town cycling, including: CLICK TO FIT™ system, winter and summer liners and removable LED rear light.

Messenger Standard, which foregoes the Premium model’s Hi-Vis system and interchangeable liners but retains all other features, adds two new colors for 2018: Black Wash and Blue Wash.

All new models will be available at retail in the early spring of 2018. Messenger Premium and Messenger Standard models are priced at $139.00 and $119.00, respectively. Lifestyle sunglasses range from $69.00 to $99.00, depending on lens options.
