Pedal Power: Vista Helps MN-based Non-Profit Get Back on Two Wheels

two kids bike through neighborhoodOn Nov. 20, this devastating story hit the news.

Pedal Power Minnesota, an organization that teaches kids how to bike and fosters learning and exploring our neighborhood and City, had one of its equipment-filled trailers stolen from them.

They were in the middle of their “Give Minnesota” Pedal Power Campaign, attempting to fundraise $50,000. Because the company’s mission aligned with Vista Outdoor’s mission, Vista stepped in to replenish the stolen bike accessories and complete the organization’s fundraising campaign!

We will donate Bell helmets, Bell bike pumps and other Bell and CamelBak accessories to help replace what was stolen. Vista Outdoor also joined with 235 other Minnesotans in supporting the Give Minnesota Pedal Power campaign. Vista Outdoor’s $30,000 donation completed Pedal Power’s goal of $50,000. The funding will support Pedal Power’s 2021 operations, including the purchase of traditional and adaptive bikes, high-visibility vests and shirts and other equipment.
