Federal Takes the Plunge for the Special Olympics, Eight Years Jumping

February 2019, the snowiest on record in Minnesota, didn’t stop Federal’s Shockwave team from participating in the Polar Plunge, a fundraising event for Minnesota Special Olympics. This year’s team raised nearly $3,000. Over the past eight years, Federal’s team has had 27 team members take the plunge, raising over $33,000.

Since 2012, Anoka County Law Enforcement has hosted the Polar Plunge, held on – and in – Crooked Lake, located near Federal’s facility.
