Vista Outdoor Employee Hunts Pheasant, Talks Conservation on the Outdoor Channel
This past October, Nobles County, Minnesota Pheasants Forever (PF) chapter, hosted a pheasant hunt for The Flush TV show. Also invited, Ryan Bronson, Director of Conservation for Vista Outdoor and Joe Duggan, a retired PF staffer who helped create the original on-box royalty program, putting the PF logo on boxes of Prairie Storm ammunition. In turn, a portion of the proceeds from each PF logoed box sold goes directly to the conservation group’s wildlife habitat efforts.
Since the program’s start in 1998, Federal Premium has surpassed 50 million shot shells sold to support the PF mission. Nobles County PF has leveraged contributions from banquets and sponsorships like the Federal Premium ammo royalties, to purchase thousands of acres of public lands.
The Flush, presented by Federal Premium Ammunition and Pheasants Forever, seeks out North America’s top upland bird hunting destinations in search of unforgettable adventures and the ultimate bird flush. Air times and dates are all ET: Monday, July 3 at 9 a.m.; Wednesday, July 5 at 2 p.m.; Saturday, July 8 at 8 a.m. and Sunday, July 9 at 4:30 a.m.
The Flush airs on the Outdoor Channel (check local listings for channel information).
