Vista Outdoor Employees Pack Meals for Feed My Starving Children
In September, Anoka, Minnesota’s Continuous Improvement team, “Team Shockwave,” volunteered their time for the Feed My Starving Children organization. The non-profit organization provides hand-packed meals, specially formulated for malnourished children. Meals are shipped to 70 countries around the world.
In two hours, teams – including Team Shockwave – packed 84 boxes of food, for a total of 18,144 meals – enough to feed 50 children for an entire year. “Team Shockwave” also volunteered their time for this worthy charity in the spring.
