National Park Service Celebrates 100 Years
The National Park Service (NPS) is celebrating its first 100 years and all of its past accomplishments. However, this celebration is more about kicking off the second century by focusing on ways to help increase stewardship of America’s parks through conservation, recreation and preservation programs in the communities for the next 100 years.
The National Park Foundation-the official charity of the National Park Service-has teamed up with CamelBak to commemorate 100 years of National Parks and its programs. CamelBak created an exclusive collection of limited edition bottles, perfect for all ages and all types of enthusiasts. Two dollars from every limited edition bottle sold was donated to support the National Park Foundation Centennial Campaign. Sales from the bottles raised $80,000 for the National Park Foundation. Each limited edition bottle has been designed with the timeless look of National Park posters and celebrates some of the most beautiful and unique National Parks across the country.
