Three Vista Outdoor Employees’ Children Earn NSSF Scholarship Awards

The National Shooting Sports Foundation (NSSF) awards $60,000 in scholarships funds to 25 students in its annual essay contest for employees of NSSF Voting Member companies and their family members. To earn one of the scholarships, employees or their qualified family members submit applications and essays on predetermined topics. The scholarships are made available as a means of thanking its Voting Members for their substantial financial support of NSSF and its mission to promote, protect and preserve hunting and the shooting sports.

This year, three of the recipients were children of Vista Outdoor employees.  Congratulations to Janey, Gabryel, Mike and their parents.

Janey Stephens, daughter of Darin Stephens, Senior Product Manager, Hunting and Archery – Bushnell/Primos. Janey is 20 years old and will be attending the University of Missouri in the fall. Janey will be pursuing a degree in Psychology.

Gabryel Conley, son of Dennis Conley, Manufacturing Engineer IV (Chemical Engineer) in Lewiston, Idaho. Gabryel is 18 years old and will be attending the University of Idaho in the fall majoring in Computer Engineering and Biological Engineering.

Mike Neubauer, son of Steve Neubauer, Ammo Operations Director in Anoka, Minnesota. Mike is 20 years old and is attending Bethel University and is pursuing a Physics major to be followed with an Engineering degree from the University of Minnesota.  He is currently working as an engineering intern for the Ammunition New Products team in Anoka, Minnesota.
