Vista Outdoor Presents 4-H Leadership Award to Long-Time Volunteer

The 2016 recipient for the Bill Steven’s 4-H Leadership Award is Gerry Snapp from Missouri. Gerry served for 13 years on the National Shooting Sports Steering Committee for 4-H, and in recent years played a critical role establishing a Western Heritage discipline for 4-H Shooting Sports, similar to cowboy action sports.

The Bill Steven’s 4-H Leadership Award was created in honor of the Conservation Manager for Federal Premium Ammunition, Bill Stevens. During his 42 years, he built many of the conservation and youth program relationships that we continue today as a company. This award is for Extension Service staff and volunteers that have played an important role in building the 4-H shooting sports program, which now serves 400,000 youth annually.

Congratulations to Gerry Snapp!
