Vista Outdoor Sponsors Minnesota WWII Honor Flight

In honor of Military Appreciation Month, we are sharing the following story submitted by two Federal Premium employee veterans.

On April 16, Dennis Angell, Marine Corps veteran, and Jim Grow, Army Vietnam veteran, had the pleasure of escorting World War II veterans Harold Hanson and Orville Geslin on their WWII Honor Flight to Washington, D.C. Their flight, with 78 veterans and 78 guardians, left Minneapolis at 6:00 a.m. and returned the same evening at 11:00 p.m. The day was spent visiting all the monuments built in our veterans’ honor. They arrived home to a hero’s welcome of approximately 300 well-wishers at the airport.

We extend a sincere thank you to all past and present veterans and their families for their service and dedication to our great country.
