A Spotlight on Engineers Week

In celebration of Engineers Week, Vista Outdoor would like to thank the approximately 140 hardworking and dedicated engineers around our company.  We’ve selected two engineers to highlight this week.

Bryan Peterson, Product Development Engineer (Ammunition) | Anoka, MN | 9 years
“Shooting sports has been a life-long passion, so coming to work every day in a field you love, and seeing the acceptance of what you do, is rewarding. Working on innovative solutions in ammunition is a key source of pride and drive.”

John Swenson, Senior Product Development Engineer (Ammunition) | Anoka, MN | 18 years
“I enjoy the practical application of science and technology and how it benefits the customer. I like working on something that applies to things I like to do for fun outside of work.” What does he like to do for fun? Recently John mentored four Cub Scouts, including his son, in earning the Webelos Charles Townes SuperNova award.  It is the highest Science, Technology, Engineering & Mathematics (STEM) award they could earn as Webelos; and he had the privilege of presenting their awards.
